The Northcote 2nd XI lost their match against Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI on a tough day.
We ended on 6/140 and Fitzroy Doncaster 2nd XI on 6/144. Mark Phelan posted 63 not out for the hosts, a classy fifty. Our best with the ball was Adam Howard, who took three for 19.
A classy 54 off 41 balls from Michael Jephcott was the highlight.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
