The Northcote 3rd XI were bested by Prahran 3rd XI despite Jimmy Anderson's 102.
With the bat, we made 8/266; Prahran 3rd XI made 6/359. Take a bow, Jimmy Anderson: a great 102 not out off 210 balls with eight fours and one six. For the hosts, Saksham Kapoor took three for 55 off eleven overs.
Connor Burchall starred with the ball, taking two for 46. Credit to Nathan A Munasinghe, who made a century (128) for our opponents. Riley Backhouse passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 82.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
On to the next one.
