There were smiles all round after our Northcote 4th XI took care of Prahran 4th XI at home on Saturday.
With the bat, we made 10/187; Prahran 4th XI made 10/149. Nathaniel Reichman top-scored with 45 off 82 balls. Credit to Liam McGain, who took four for 52 for our opponents. Rushil Ravi added three for 31 for the visitors.
Qasim Khan bowled well for a five-wicket haul, five for 65 off 27 overs. Japjeet Khaira also took two for 12. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Angus Schlittler, who made 64.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Great work, everyone.
